Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has condemned the decision of the federal government to ban the operations of Twitter in Nigeria.
Recall that the Federal Government on Friday suspended, indefinitely, the operations of microblogging and social networking service, Twitter, in Nigeria.
Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, made the announcement of the suspension in a statement signed by his media aide Segun Adeyemi.
The minister cited the persistent use of the platform for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.
